How do I get the layouts, which are just plain, and then have like a picture background, not too sure how to explain it really, but it's like a normal layout, but the background is a pattern or picture

try checking www.hotprofileplus.com or sites similar to it that you can download the html for a myspace layout.
The formatting is very easy if you have any experience with html programming, but if not then just visit one of those type of layout sites and you'll find plenty of things you can do.

because there is a layout that I like, but I would like to change the background to just plain black instead of the pattern that it is. I was wondering if this was possible and if anyone could help me. Thanks.
Sorry to say, but It's not possible with this layout to change the background by simply changing something in the code. If you right click and see the main image:

The background is part of the image, so there is no way to remove it by changing the code.
You would need to download the image, modify it using Photoshop or a graphics program (which requires some graphic skills), upload it somewhere on the web and change the path of the image in the code, as well as change the path of the page background image as well.
Just change this...

To this...
background-color:000000;
000000 = Hex Code For Black
Edit: Sorry, but you cannot change the background on a DIV layout unless you make/edit it yourself using photo shop, paint shop, ect. The background itself is the layout.
You can try leaving a comment on the page, asking if he/she could edit it for you or you can post a layout request in the forums...some of the people on there take requests.

I think you shouldn't rely on what other people think of you, due to the fact that true strength comes from within. This can come from people if they support you, but you certainly shouldn't let it get you down if someone doesn't think well of you. You know who you are and you know what your goals are better than any of them. The more you focus on those goals, the more value they'll see in you as a person, due to the fact that you don't need them, you're doing what you need to do in life. Focusing on your goals helps relationships, and it certainly helps confidence. If you don't have too many friends, perphaps you don't need many friends right now, so it's natural feeling that you wouldn't see it possible too many. Living your life according to your terms and forgetting the rest is what makes life worth living, slaves were never happy. Likewise, you shouldn't be a slave to what other people think or believe about you. Your true friends will accept every change that you go through, and whether that means you have a good number of friends or no friends is irrlevant, because in the end, they'll still be your friend if they're true. Besides the fact that you didn't need them to begin with, try just being honest about how you feel with everyone you meet. If you feel a certain way when someone says something to you, just tell them exactly what it is and why. Things will be a lot more clear and you'll be able to sleep better at night. Good luck.

firstly, make sure your songs are originals or state them as covers when u upload them, they have a strict policy with putting on songs that are not yours
then, click the tab that says play my song whe page loads after uploading your song,. VOILA!!
