right i noticed myspace has updated some things and one of the things is changing your background color when your profile is private so it aint plain white. how do you do it though?? does any 1 know? just message me if you do please :)

If you have a background from a different site that you already have - if you can find the http link to the background image. . .you have to do some searching through the premade layout you are using, but copy it when you find it. It will look like this: http://images.hotprofileplus.com/myspace... (and be in the part of the layout mentioning background colors, texts, etc.)
Then go into edit profile, profile editor, background image. Paste the url into the box under 'use image' and click 'use image.' You also have to change the box that has 'don't repeat' to "across and down." This basically means you're replicating the one image background all over the background.
Hit save. You should be able to log out and look for your page. The background should now show up. Let me know if it doesn't. :)

I tried your suggestion but it did not work for me. My profile background is now grayed out and the image does not show up on my Private page. How can I fix this? Report It

Im pretty sure you have to use their layout sesigner that they got on edit profile
