i have one of those plain layouts..

but the back ground is grey

how do i get it a diff background??

go to edit profile and look through the code that says

background-colour:

You can also put a picture in the back ground with this code... just put the image URL where it says IMAGEURLHERE

or if you want the better one you have to add the layout sites

google myspace layout or myspace background and they have things that will do everything for you

make one.. i did use photo shop ..cut and paste.. then stick photos or whatever you fancy on your back ground there.

then just post it on a server. i guess whatever free photo server there is would work the same, like photo bucket.

There are a lot of websites with premade myspace layouts and all you have to do is just copy and paste the code into you're about me section. They're really easy. Go to http://www.myspace-fever.com and click on myspace layouts. It's the very first option on the menu. The layouts are split up into different categories like heart backgrounds, stripe backgrounds, polka dot backgrounds, etc.
