its super plain, theres like nothing. i never had time to update it but now that its winter break, what should i put? any ideas? or name suggestions?

Whatever you do, do not put a million flash toys all over it and make sure the page allignment stays in the right place. Some people go crazy and put those fridgerators, chat boards, etc. and their entire page allignment gets messed up.

Lots of people go for tasteless backgrounds with text colours that are either really hard to read, or clash violently (or sometimes both). So don't do that.

Go easy with the strange templates that only work in some browsers, and lose half the content in the others.

And if you can arrange it so that music doesn't start automatically when people visit, that's nice. Otherwise we get to hear loads of clashing tunes at once. Nice.

Cat photos should be safe though. But no fluffy pink hearts please!

I like to keep mine simple...maybe some pictures you like of you or your friends or just anything!

I like to have a good background or layout. If you choose just a background, then you can pick your own network banner and contact table. Its good to actually write about things in the different sections too, then it lets people know who you are. I put on graphics too, the ones with the sayings. You can also do slideshows and music playlists. Some of the sites that I like to use are:

just make it your OWN...and keep it fun...I like to change mine every week or so. just erase all my codes and completely do my page over. it keeps it fun!
